Votives

This evening I unloaded the kiln. These are the votive candle holders I made for my friend Lynda. She is giving them to the volunteers who have been with Hospice for 10 years, as a Thank you gift. I also unloaded a pitcher I made for a customer, but boohoo, the blue ran and stuck to the kiln shelf. I will have to glaze another later this week. This is the reason I have thought about giving up this blue. It runs too much. Today we went to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia with my Husband, Son & Mom. We just wanted to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Those candle votives are really pretty. The colors are so fun. Sorry about your pitcher.

I unloaded a glaze kiln today and My blue ran too. It didn't stick because I "just" did kiln wash. I lucked out.

Thanks, Lucky you. I saw your pieces with the blue. Luckily they still can be used. Mine ran so much that I couldn't have used it either way.
